In 2022 IGENIX enjoyed the privilege of supporting Roy’s Crazy 88 trek to the coast in aid of the Stroke Association.
IGENIX have provided the event’s website and assisted in the presentation of graphics, updates and general web-based support to help raise £8,888.88 by walking the 88 miles from Nottingham to Mablethorpe.
Roy said at the time ‘We’re as pleased as punch to have the IGENIX logo on the support car (as pictured) and hope readers will also help the cause by donating’ (website and fund raising now closed).
The walk took place between Wednesday 13th April and Good Friday, 15th April 2022. The route took the team from Nottingham to Lincoln; Lincoln to Horncastle then Horncastle to Mablethorpe.
The team were able to be tracked live during the walk and also on the web site the tracking page and kept followers updated via their blog, which was also hosted on the IGENIX website.
We are please to announce the target of £8,888,88 was well and truly broken and the Crazy 88 team thanks everyone for their support and generosity.
